It all started in the fall of 2021 during the grips of the pandemic. Jared met Chuck (or Bart as he is known to his family) on a dating app. They went to Wicklow Heights wine garden for their first date. This is the bar at which Jared would eventually pop the question years later. The first and second dates were not great. Jared was ready to move on at this point. Chuck, thankfully, wasn't. He asked Jared on a third date and this is where things changed.

They went to race electric go karts and Jared got his butt kicked. This is when it clicked that Chuck had a competitiveness about him and a lot of potential. Much has happened since then and they have endured it all and come out stronger. Learning to love and appreciate the intimate moments. The game nights at home, the breakfast lunch and dinner dates, the epic parties. Jared realized that it was time, and on February 28, 2024 he got down on one knee. After a moment of complete and utter shock, the answer was a resounding yes. Ruby Becker was in town for her birthday and she played along to keep it a surprise, using the ruse of a birthday dinner as to not raise Chuck's suspicions. After that, the rest is history. Jared & Chuck, while nervous, are more than ready to take the next step and cement their love and relationship in the loving presence of their friends and family.
